Buttershy Studios was a videogame studio founded by my brother, Isaac Rodríguez, where I held the role of Lead Designer since its inception and until its closure in 2018. However, that was not the end of our videogame development adventures, the future still holds a lot of pixels for us.

In the studio, I collaborated in the development of mobile apps and small videogames. We started using the native Android SDK and quickly transitioned to experimenting with the Unity game engine, which we used for our latest games.

These are some key highlights of my role:

  • Development and launch to the mobile market (Android, iOS) of various apps and games.
  • 2D and 3D design, visual and artistic elements.
  • UI/UX design.
  • Collaboration in the design of levels, mechanics and game elements.
  • Collaboration in videogame programming.
  • Beta testing.
